Since the time HP TouchPads which have been made to be affordable have hit the markets, people have been trying hard to port Android to them. Do you know that there are infact bounties on rescue for people who can get working versions of the Android OS on the HP TouchPads? You can see quite a few videos that are there on the net which have been put up by Android users who claim that they have already got a version of the Android OS on their HP tablet.
A user on YouTube has put up a video where he claims to have put up how to install and get Android 2.3 Gingerbread on his HP TouchPad. The video tutorial on how other people can get it was to put by August 24th, 2011. He also claims to get Android 3.0 Honeycomb for HP TouchPad users. It’s for us to sit and watch how he could source out Honeycomb for us when it hasn’t been released as of yet for the public. Mind you, his video has a backing up of a solid music score that will you feel he’s talking sense.
There is another video that is again from a user on YouTube. Now, he says that his co-worker has got himself an HP TouchPad which has come with a pre-installed version of Android 2.1.1. The question of how he has it in his TouchPad is still to be answered. Whether these videos actually mean something is something that we have to ponder over.
