FXI Technologies and Exent have signed a partnership deal to pre-install Exent's GameTanium service on the Cotton Candy any-screen computing platform. Following this deal, users of the flash drive-sized Cotton Candy Android device will be able to access unlimited play of full-version Android games via the GameTanium service.

Exent will also enable FXI’s Cotton Candy users to use their smartphone or tablet as a game controller. The duo believes the service will combine "all the benefits of smartphone gaming interfaces -- including touch, drag and accelerometer functionality -' with GameTanium's cutting edge technology platform and sophisticated content programming to deliver the best gaming experience on TV."

For the uninitiated, Cotton Candy is an any screen computer platform that allows users a single point of access to their personal cloud services as well as apps through their favorite OS. By partnering with Exent, the platform will extend the Android OS and GameTanium service to TVs.

As part of the partnership deal, the two companies will also work together to enable mobile broadband service providers, OEMs as well as retailers "to extend the reach of their branded content to new screens". The duo also intends to make the pre-loaded GameTanium service available at the retail launch of Cotton Candy.
