MetaQuotes has improved its MetaTrader 5 Android mobile platform with the release of a new version of the app. The original version released in October 2011 enabled brokers to connect to their trading accounts, view their trade history and do transactions in the Forex market. The new version comes with charts of financial instruments to visualise the price dynamics and help to analyze quotes.
The new version of the app also comes with an optimized interface for tablet computers running the Android OS. So, the app now enables optimized viewing on smartphones as well as on hi-res screens of tablet PCs.
The company has informed it is working on a new MetaTrader 4 Android as well and hopes to release it soon. The MetaTrader 5 Android is free to download from the Android Market.
