The Google contacts Sync function on the Android phone allows you to synchronize contacts with your Google account. Using this feature, you can manage the contacts on the go on your Android Smartphone. Your android smartphone not only allow you to synchronize your Google contacts, but also lets you synchronize your Facebook and other accounts. When you add more than one account on your Android Smartphone, duplicate contacts may arise. As contacts are important, you cannot just delete duplicate contacts, especially if important information is attached to the contacts. The solution lies in merging contacts that have same information. When you merge two contacts, you can place the information at one place.

You can merge contacts both on your android Smartphone and personal computer. Read further to find out the procedure to achieve these.
