The HTC One S is likely to be available on T-Mobile network this spring. When it launches, the HTC One S will be the thinnest smartphone (7.95mm) on T-Mobile'soffering. Sporting a sleek, aluminium unibody design, the smartphone will take advantage of the operator's 4G technology (HSPA+42) and be the first from T-Mobile to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4 UI.
The handset is comes with integrated Beats By Dr. Dre technology to enable authentic sound. The device comes pre-loaded with with Google Music for cloud-based access to a user's personal music collection.
It sports an 8-megapixel camera that incorporates HTC ImageSense technology, allowing camera enhancements like:
* Superfast capture with estimated 0.7-second shot time and a 0.2-second autofocus.
* Image capture quality even adverse lighting conditions facilitated by the camera's f/2.0 lens that claims to capture "40 percent more light than the f/2.4 lenses available on other high-end phones".
* Concurrent video/still capture, enabling users to tap the shutter button for a hi-res still photo even as they shoot a 1080p HD video. Users can also capture a still image from a previously-recorded video.
The phone has a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor by Qualcomm in its gut and a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touch screen. When it launches, the HTC One S will be available from T-Mobile at retail stores, select dealers and retail stores in the US.
